We have an active outreach team which goes out into the community to give support to those who need us.
We currently visit a local charity offering help to local people with personal issues such as drug and alcohol abuse, mental health problems, homelessness and those feeling fragile and alone.
We visit schools and give talks to many different organisations.
We are happy and willing to come and give a talk to any group, school, club or society about Samaritans. We feel it is important to make people aware of who we are and what we do, hopefully, so that those who need us will feel able to call and that potential volunteers are made aware of our work.
