Hull Samaritans braved the freezing temperatures to add some Christmas cheer in Beverley town centre and raise funds for the branch, thanks to the generosity of Beverley shoppers.
A number of volunteers and friends of Hull Samaritans donned their winter woolies to sing outside Toll Gavel church in Beverley.
Despite the cold, there was plenty of festive cheer to go around, with the people of Beverley kindly donating loads of much-needed funds for the branch.
Fundraising officer Duncan said: "We had an excellent day with many additional singers, including choir members, friends and family.
"Thanks for all the collectors too, because you did rather well…we collected an astounding £870 during the day!"
A big thank you to the people of Beverley for their generosity and to all those volunteers who took part. Well done!
