You can talk to us, anytime you like, in your own way. You don't have to be suicidal......we're here for you
Folkestone Dover and Hythe Samaritans provide confidential, non-judgemental support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for anyone experiencing feelings of distress or despair, including those thoughts which could lead to suicide.
We won't judge you or tell you what to do and you can talk to us for as long as you need to, in complete confidence.
We believe that it's important to be able to talk about difficult feelings and that being listened to, and accepted without prejudice, helps alleviate feelings of distress and despair that can sometimes be overwhelming without support.
We're here for everyone, whatever your problems may be.
We make no charge for our service. All our volunteers are fully trained and we aim to be friendly, welcoming and there, just for you, whether you're local, from further afield or just visiting Folkestone, Dover or Hythe.
Please don't hesitate to contact us, It might just make all the difference
Or maybe you don't feel that you can take calls, but still want to help. Then please think about joining our Active Friends Group. The Samaritans Friends are the fundraising and awarness arm of our branch, and they always need help.
