Get everyone together online and have a Brew Monday any Monday, or a day that’s good for you.
The third Monday in January, thought to be “Blue Monday”, is being turned into Brew Monday to encourage everyone to reach out to people.
Feeling alone with your problems can have a big impact on your mental health. Reach out to a friend, family member or colleague for a virtual cuppa and a chat. It doesn’t have to be a Monday or a cup of tea, just taking time to really listen to another person could help them work through what’s on their mind.
Because now more than ever, sharing a cuppa is more than a drink – it's about reaching out, checking in and staying connected.
Share the warmth and socialise safely; there are many ways you can connect virtually. You can have a group audio/video calling which is available on Skype, Microsoft Teams, WhatsApp, Zoom, Facebook messenger and so on.
Have your own Brew Monday
Brew Monday at work
Having a cuppa and a cake with your colleagues (virtually or not) can be a great way to start the week as well as a great opportunity to get to know each other better.
Brew Monday at home
Brew Monday can be a good excuse to reach out to friends, family or neighbours for a really good chat.
Every donation can bring warmth to someone at their toughest time
Get everyone together for a virtual cuppa and raise money for Central London Samaritans so someone having a tough time has somewhere to turn when they need to talk. Here is everything you need to ‘stay connected’ at your Brew Monday!
