We were kindly invited by Morven Day Services to have an information stall at two of their Arts & Crafts exhibitions, for Scottish Mental Health Week.
The purpose of these events was to allow people to celebrate their creativity while hoping to encourage and inspire other service users and the local community, and provide a selection of information resources that are available to those who may be struggling to cope.
We enjoyed meeting a variety of people and networking with local 'mental health' organisations. It was a great opportunity for us to spread awareness of what Samaritans can help with.
The Provost of East Ayrshire, who popped in to view the exhibits, also enjoyed meeting our unofficial branch mascot, Fudge!
