Grace, grand-daughter of long-standing listening volunteer, Linda cycled 80km indoors to raise funds for Chiltern Samaritans
When Grace Endean, 14, grand-daughter of long-standing listening volunteer Linda, heard that our annual summer cycle sportive had been cancelled, she hatched a plan on how she could help out. She decided to attempt the 80km ride indoors on Saturday 2 May 2020!! Grace, a pupil of Pipers Corner School enjoys netball, football and cycling with her Dad. She follows Arsenal Ladies football team and attends matches when she can. She's already a keen fund-raiser and has previously raised money for the Air Ambulance and Ty Hafan Children's Hospice in Wales. She loves baking - especially brownies. Grace absolutely smashed it and completed her 80km 'journey' in 2 hours 37 minutes! With gift aid, as at Monday 4 May, she had raised over £1000! WELL DONE GRACE!!
