For most people, Samaritans is synonymous with
providing support to people with suicidal feelings. Knowing how to
respond to someone who is distressed and perhaps wishing to end
their life can be emotionally challenging and stressful and leave
you uncertain of what to do.
This course shows you how to
respond and acknowledge difficult feelings and circumstances before
making a sensitive referral. Staff employed by Shopping Centres,
Universities, Police Forces, Train Operators, Local Councils and
