Aim to be available anytime day or night  Seek to alleviate human misery, loneliness, despair, and depression by listening to those who feel they have no one else to turn to for understanding or acceptance. Keep everything said completely confidential within the organisation. Do not judge their callers or tell them their views or actions are wrong. Do not offer advice to their callers but just listen. Will never take away the caller’s freedom to make their own decisions, even the one to take their own life.
