Opening hours
Our guaranteed opening hours are:
- Monday: 10:30 - 22:30
- Tuesday: 07:00-10:30 and 17:00-22:30
- Wednesday: 07.00-10.30 and 17:00-22:30
- Thursday: 10:30-22:30
- Friday: 20:00-22:30
- Saturday: 20:00-22:30
- Sunday: 08:00-14:00
We are available to see callers face to face until 21:00. Please
call in advance to ensure that we are available to see you. The
branch is sometimes open at other times as well. Please
call for details. Calls to our number will always be answered 24
hours a day, 7 days a week.
Directions to the centre:
Our centre is based in Mildmay Road just behind the Central
Library, which is a short walk from the High Road.
- From the station turn right towards the traffic lights.
- Turn left into Ilford High Road and walk past the Town
Hall.
- Turn right into Oakfield Road.
- At the junction with Clements Road take the underpass (next to
the Central Library) and you will be in Mildmay Road.
- 8 Mildmay Road is directly opposite the exit from the
underpass
Ilford is served by main line National Express trains on the
Liverpool Street – Gidea Park/ Shenfield line.
The following bus routes pass through the centre of Ilford:
- 25, 86, 123, 128, 145, 147, 150, 167, 169, 179, 364, 462, 667,
679, 988, EL1, EL2, W19
- All of these buses either stop at Ilford Central Library or
Ilford Station. Follow the walking route set out above.
The nearest tube is Gants Hill on the Central Line. Frequent
buses run into Ilford Town Centre from Gants Hill.
There is a pay and display car park directly opposite our centre
in Mildmay Road
