Samaritans Ireland and Towers Watson team are a prize-winning partnership

In September 2009, Samaritans Ireland and a team of 10 new
starters at the actuarial consultancy firm Towers Watson entered
the ‘Client First Charity Challenge’ run by Towers Watson.
The project lasted three months, during which time the graduate
team organised and hosted table quizzes and art auctions in Dublin
and London that raised over €3,000 in donations – an impressive
total given the current economic climate!
Also, out of the eight teams that participated in the Charity
Challenge, the Samaritans team scooped the overall Project
Management prize at the award ceremony in December.
