Payroll giving
Donating to Samaritans straight from your pay is a quick and
easy way to regularly support our work, with the additional
benefit of being tax- efficient, which means:
- A payroll giving pledge of £5 per month costs the basic rate
tax payer just £4 and we receive the full £5 pledged, as the tax
man pays the rest (£3 if you pay higher-rate tax).
Make a big
difference
Payroll Giving donations provide Samaritans with regular income;
this helps us plan for the long term and means that we can continue
to answer every call for help, alleviating distress and giving
people hope.
- Just £3 per month could pay for 1 life saving phone call for
help.
Why we need your support
The economic situation means thousands more people are feeling
the stress of unemployment, money worries and increased
pressure. Your support now is more important than ever and
will make a big difference. Your support will help us answer
more calls for help and ensure that we’re always there to provide
emotional support to those that need it, 24 hours a day, seven days
a week.
