How you can manage or amend your Will
How you can make or amend your Will
A Will is a legal document that protects your wishes and can
allow you to take care of your loved ones. It must comply
with legal formalities, but is usually quick and easy with the help
of a solicitor.
If you die without a Will (intestate) your estate will be dealt
with according to the law, and will automatically go to your next
of kin. This might be against your wishes, and will not
provide for all who you may have wishes to benefit.
Equally, your circumstances or wishes may change over time, and
you may need to review your Will. It's important to ask your
solicitor if you can simply add a codicil to amend your existing
Will or if you need to re-write your Will entirely.
George Ide LLP is a highly respected firm of solicitors.
They will provide a discounted Will making service to supporters of
Samaritans, as well as make a donation to Samaritans every time a
supporter uses the service.

You can make your Will with
George Ide LLP online where they have an easy-to-use online
will writing system, over the phone or by visiting their
office.
Alternatively you can request a pack from Sue in Supporter Care
on 08709 00 00 32.
You don't have to leave a gift to Samaritans in your Will to use
George Ide LLP's charity Will writing service.
George Ide LLP is completely independent of Samaritans. If
you wish, you can use the Law Society's 'find a solicitor' service
on their website www.lawsociety.org.uk to find
other solicitors close to you.
