Motoring for charity
Basingstoke-based Business Development Executive
Philip Benson, is in the final stages of training for the London
Marathon to help raise vital funds to enable emotional support
charity Samaritans to maintain its 24-hour service.
To help Philip achieve his
fundraising target you can sponsor him at www.justgiving.com/philipbenson.
Payroll Giving
The easiest and most tax efficient way to
support Samaritans is to set up a monthly donation through your
payroll.
If you donate £5 a month to Samaritans through
your payroll, you are helping us to answer 2 calls for help.
And because of the tax that is reclaimed through payroll
giving, donating £5.00 to Samaritans will cost you just £4.00.
If you give £10 a month (which will cost you
£8.00) you can ensure that nearly 50 people will find someone at
the end of the phone, every year.
