Kerrang Rock for
Life
The Rock for Life campaign promotes the service that we provide to
the Kerrang! Audience and has helped over 33,000 wristbands and
dogtags to be sold in aid of Samaritans.
24:7 National Fundraising and Awareness
Raising Day
Branches around the UK and Ireland launch events on or around 24th
July to promote and raise vital funds for Samaritans.
Stress Down
Day
Stress Down Day took place on 1st February 2007, aiming to raise
awareness of the effects of stress in the workplace and encouraging
people to take better care of their emotional well-being.
Samaritans 'Doodle'
Campaign
Our annual advertising campaign, sponsored by The Vodafone UK
Foundation, used doodles to represent the wide variety of emotional
states Samaritans provide support for.
Television adverts,
Spring 2006
Advertising agency AMV BBDO produced these adverts free of charge,
using humour to explain that you needn't be afraid to ask for
help.
Winter campaign 2005
Our annual advertising campaign, supported by The Vodafone UK
Foundation, used warm, welcoming imagery to particularly encourage
young people aged between 16 and 25 to contact Samaritans.
Older Campaigns
BEEP!
A campaign which asked people to give just £2.29 a month to help us
to ensure we are there for every single person who calls Samaritans
in need of emotional support.
2004 campaigns
Who is Jo?
A major campaign to promote our email service to younger people,
supported by The Vodafone UK Foundation.
Time For Tea
A fundraising campaign that asked you to get together and put the
kettle on to make Time for Tea.
