Summer Social 2008
This summer, supported by local band The Reactions, the branch will be holding a social event at West Heaton Bowlind Tennis and Squash Club, not only to raise funds but also to raise the profile of Stockport Samaritans. These events give Samaritans, their families and friends as well as local supporters a chance to get together in a relaxed atmosphere.

Race Night - March 2008
We are holding a Race night at the Jolly Sailor pub in Davenport, Stockport on Saturday 1 March 2008 at 7.30pm. We will welcome everybody who wants to come along to support us and can guarantee a fun filled night with the opportunity to win some money! We look forward to seeing you there.
Curry & Quiz Night - Mango Lounge, Stockport
Fun was had by all as we were joined by volunteers, friends and family at the Mango Lounge in October 2007 for a "as much as you can eat" Indian buffett and a general knowledge quiz.
We managed to raise £850.00, it was such a success we are doing it all again in October 2008.
