Prisons
The Branch Prison Outreach Team consists of Branch volunteers and supports Samaritan Listener Schemes in two of our local Category C prisons, HMP Wymott and Kennet.
At the heart of our service is the commitment to work with prison staff and inmate Listeners to provide the support needed within a unique environment and where challenging issues are ever present. The work can be demanding and frustrating but it is hugely satisfying and rewarding and we are passionate as a team in wanting to make a difference.
