Samaritans received over 5.2million calls for help in 2006, but less than 2% of our income is from government and statutory sources.

£10 a month pays for Samaritans to answer 300 telephone calls in a year.

£25 a month allows Samaritans to answer 100 emails a year.

£60 a month lets us keep your local branch open for a week.

£200 keeps a branch open for one day.

£1,500 would keep Samaritans running throughout the UK and Republic of Ireland for one hour.
