There are many volunteering roles in Samaritans.  In addition to the team of listening volunteers who answer the helpline phones in our Portsmouth Centre, we also need support volunteers who can help with things such as fundraising, or publicity and promoting our work.

If you feel that our work is worthwhile and you have a few spare hours each week, we want to hear from you.  We will be happy to send you further information.

An easy way to support us is by helping with our successful House to House envelope collection. This is held each Spring, and we welcome people who can deliver envelopes for us in their local road or neighbourhood and later collect them.  Also, we occasionally attend with collecting boxes at places such as supermarkets.   We always need more hands.  Please contact us if you can help in any way.
