We don't just wait for people to contact us

Samaritans is a long established and respected organisation and is an integral part of the local community, but being well-known doesn't stop us striving to maintain a public awareness of who we are and what we do.  We know that we need to reach out to all areas of society.

We work closely with a wide range of community groups, and recognise that there are important benefits that can be gained by this.  Click HERE for examples of how we interact with all areas of the community.

We are keen to ensure that more people feel comfortable about contacting us when they need to, and know what to expect from us if they do.  We also hope to reach potential volunteers in this way and encourage them to apply to help us.
