British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP)
Exists to enable access to ethical and effective psychological therapy by setting and monitoring of standards. Includes an online directory of counsellors and psychotherapists.

Breathing Space
Breathing Space is a free and confidential phoneline service for any individual in Scotland, who is experiencing low mood or depression, or who is unusually worried and in need of someone to talk to.

Bullying UK
The UK’s leading anti-bullying charity. Provides practical information and advice to young people and their parents through the website and by email, and works with schools, youth organisations, police forces and health trusts, running workshops and speaking at conferences.

Childline
The UK's free and confidential, 24-hour helpline for children in distress or danger. Trained volunteer counsellors comfort, advise and protect children and young people who may feel they have nowhere else to turn. Children and young people can also email or webchat 1-2-1 or can text for information.

National Self Harm Network
A charity offering services nationwide to support and empower people who self-harm to explore reasons for their self-harm and to seek appropriate professional help.  NSHN also educate service providers and support friends, families and carers of individuals who self-harm.

NEPS (National Education Psychology Service – Republic of Ireland)
A service of the Department of Education and Science in the Republic of Ireland. NEPS psychologists work with both primary and post-primary schools and they are concerned with learning, behaviour, social and emotional development.
