How to find us The Northampton branch The Northampton branch is easy to find located near the Samaritians charity shop. Address The Northampton branch is at the following address: 2 St Michaels Avenue, Northampton, NN1 4JQ. Click here for a MultiMap view of our location.
Our main building is a three storey end of terrace house on the corner where St Michaels Avenue meets Kettering Road (A43). The Samaritans shop is attached, facing Kettering Road. From the town centre, a visitor on foot should head for the Kettering Road (A43) and follow it for about half a mile until the Samaritans shop (192B Kettering Road) with its green and white signs is seen on the right. Our premises are just around the next corner on the right. A driver looking to park near us should head for the Kettering Road (A43) and again look out for our shop. St Michaels Avenue is a one-way street and you cannot turn in to it directly from the Kettering Road. Drivers should instead turn into Derby Road and turn right to make their way to the area around St Michaels church where parking is normally available. Parking on St Michaels Avenue itself is often not possible. Gaining Access There is one main entrance to the Branch around the corner from the shop. Ring on the bell and a volunteer will let you in. Please remember that sometimes all our volunteers may be busy. If this is the case, you may have to wait until somebody becomes available. If you need to speak to someone immediately, there are telephone boxes located nearby the branch. Back to the top Samaritans is available 24 hours a day to provide
