Samaritans believe that offering people the opportunity to be listened to in confidence, and accepted without prejudice, can alleviate despair and suicidal feelings. You can contact us in complete confidence in the following ways:

By Telephone on 08457 909090 (charged at local rate). A trained Samaritan volunteer will answer and offer emotional support.

In Person

You can drop into the Northampton Branch to see a Samaritan volunteer in person between the hours of 09:00 and 21:00. The Northampton Branch is located at 2 St Michaels Avenue.

You may wish to telephone us on 01604 637637 before you set out.


E-mail

We recognise that some people may find it easier or may need time and space to find a way through emotional distress by communicating by email at email us: jo@samaritans.org

If you are in crisis and prefer to write, you can write to Samaritans at :- Chris, PO Box 90 90, Stirling, FK8 2SA. Every letter goes to a volunteer who will respond to you directly. All it costs is the price of a stamp.
