Financial Support

We are an independent charity, managed and run by local volunteers and are entirely reliant on raising our own funds to operate.   We have no paid employees and receive  no national or Government funding.

We need to raise over £50 per day just to be able to run our service, which includes paying our telephone bills, local advertising, recruitment and training costs plus property upkeep, so we are always seeking more funds.  Any funds available after we have met our regular running costs are used to improve and extend the services we are able to offer.

You can help us by making a donation in a number of ways:

• By credit or debit card or by paypal at our site on Just Giving.
• You can send a cheque, payable to Newbury Samaritans, to our office at 58 West Street, Newbury,  RG14 1BD.  If you are able to complete a Gift Aid declaration and enclose it with your cheque we are able to claim the tax already paid on your donation.
• We particularly value regular donations which enable us to plan our budget.  If you would like to make a regular donation (monthly or annually) by standing order please complete this form and send it to our treasurer at the above address.
