Media Meeting

A Very Public Death: Working together for better reporting

Samaritans invites you to attend this meeting on Wednesday 27th August 2008 at the Thistle Hotel, Glasgow from 10.00 – 15.00 hours, prior to the start of the 12th European Symposium on Suicide and Suicidal Behaviour at 16.00 hours in the same venue.

  • What are the barriers to good coverage?
  • What is the way forward for the industry?

Registration

The registration fee includes VAT, conference materials, lunch, refreshments and a free copy of Samaritans Media Guidelines (2008).  Please note that there are limited places available so, to avoid disappointment, please register at your earliest convenience.

  • Standard (from 28th June 2008)  £120.00

Cancellations

Delegates who are no longer able to attend the meeting should advise the Secretariat at Hampton Medical Conferences, in writing as soon as possible. Registration will only be refunded, less a £10.00 administration fee, for written cancellations received prior to 28th July 2008.  Refunds will not be made for cancellations made after this date, but name substitutions will be accepted at any time.
