Win the chance to meet The Hoosiers
Thursday
21st April 2011
For immediate release
The Hoosiers’ lead singer Irwin Sparkes is offering
fans the chance to not only meet the band at a local sound check,
but also win handwritten lyrics to their hit single ‘Goodbye
Mr. A’, all in support of Samaritans.
In an attempt to raise vital funds for the
charity, Sparkes completed his first-ever Marathon on Sunday,
completing a gruelling 26.2 miles in four hours and fifty-five
minutes.
Supporting the charity, Irwin said: “I am
exhausted after the marathon but I’m determined to raise as much
money as I can for the charity. I know people who have received
support from Samaritans and want people to know what they do.
“I’m calling out to all my fans for a donation
so we can raise over £5000 for the charity together.”
The prize is sure to impress any fan of the
chart-topping band with two lucky winners being able to meet them
at a sound-check at one of nine venues across the country.
To be in with a chance to meet the
band at a sound check in May, simply donate £5.00 to Irwin’s
fundraising total by Sunday 15 May 2011: http://bit.ly/irwinsparkesthehoosiers.
Additionally, the fan who contributes the most money towards the
total will not only get to meet the band, but will also be
presented with exclusive handwritten lyrics to their top-10 hit
‘Goodbye Mr. A’.
