Volunteering for Samaritans gives you a real chance to make a difference to people's lives using existing skills or developing new ones, with our training. Leeds Samaritans offers a unique place to grow both personally and practically, in a supportive environment.

Listening Volunteers
Our listening volunteers are here so that people can talk to them about anything that is troubling them and explore their options. They give people time to think things through, and listen with an open mind and in confidence, for as long as needed.

Leeds Samaritans offer callers a 24 hour service, 365 days of the year. By volunteering with us you are helping us to maintain this important service.
