Reaching out into the community

Samaritans are available 24 hours per day and 365 days per year to give emotional support to those that seek it. We believe that we can do more than this and thus we have our Outreach programme which actively seeks to reach out to the wider community.

Talks Programme

Kirkcaldy Samaritans have a team of speakers who can give talks to a variety of organizations be they voluntary like ourselves, corporate or schools and other educational establishments. We can talk about what we do and how we can provide support. We can also tailor our talks and can run workshops to suit specific needs such as the development of listening skills. Workshops

We also offer a Listening Skill Workshops. These workshops have proved invaluable to groups who are in contact with vulnerable individuals. Recent workshops have been given to Fife Police Headquarters and NHS Palliative Care.
