Welcome

All day, every day, Samaritans are available to offer emotional support to callers, with more people than ever turning to us for help. You need no qualifications to be a Samaritan – just time, and the temperament to be there for callers and to let them say what is troubling them without judging them or offering advice.

If you think you might be able to meet the challenge of supporting those people who contact Kingston Samaritans in distress or despair then you can find out more by attending the Information Evenings at our branch; 12 St. Andrew's Road, Surbiton (dates listed on our ‘Volunteering’ page).

If you need someone to talk to please remember that Samaritans are ALWAYS available.
