CRM Project Manager

Fixed term Contract (2 years), Full Time

We are looking for an experienced and driven individual to lead the delivery of our new CRM system, to be used for managing and coordinating information across the organisation. This high-profile project has the potential to bring major benefits to the charity and help us achieve our mission more effectively.

In 2013 alone, 6,233 people took their own lives in the UK and 475 in the ROI.  That is 18 suicides a day and for every one of these people, there are friends, partners, children, relatives, carers and colleagues left behind. Around 17% of people say they have had thoughts of suicide at some point in their life, 6% that they have attempted suicide and 5% confirm that they have self-harmed. Samaritans receives over 5.4 million contacts a year, supporting people round the clock when life gets tough. We have more than 20,000 volunteers who operate our Listening Service out of 201 branches across UK and Ireland.

As CRM Project Manager you will define the vision and strategy for a new CRM system to manage volunteer and supporter data and processes. You will take the system from initial scoping to needs specification, partner selection, delivery, training, support and ongoing improvement. You will engage with volunteers and staff at all levels of the organisation and work closely with suppliers and partners to ensure delivery meets key milestones on time and in budget.

We’re looking for someone with experience of delivering one or more complex CRM projects, preferably in a non for profit environment. If you have the ability to lead a major technical project, while maintaining support from a large and diverse group of stakeholders, then please consider applying.
