Samaritans in Havering

Samaritans

Samaritans of Havering provide confidential non-judgemental emotional support for people who are experiencing feelings of distress or despair, including those which could lead to suicide.

It can be difficult to talk about our feelings. It's often easier to keep them to ourselves. But if you are in emotional distress, despairing, or feeling suicidal, talking can make all the difference. We offer time and space for you to talk through anything that is troubling you, whatever you are feeling.

We are not a religious or political organisation. We listen, we don’t judge and we don’t offer advice. We all go through difficult times in our lives and talking about these difficulties can begin to make sense of them.

You can contact us:

  • by telephone 01708 740000,
  • by e-mail, on jo@samaritans.org
  • or in person, in our branch at 107 North Street, Romford, (Please phone for opening times)

See the page " How to reach us" for detailed directions to the branch - we are just near the Matalan store.
