Welcome to the website of the Grimsby, Cleethorpes and District Samaritans.

We are based at 55, Alexandra Road, Grimsby, and are just one of 202 Samaritan branches in the UK and Ireland. Our purpose is to offer confidential emotional support to people who are going through crises' in their life, especially those who are feeling suicidal. Volunteers are available to listen on the phone 24 hours a day, every day.

We won't offer advice, or tell you what to do, but will allow you to talk about your feelings without judgement, and help you to explore other options or possibilities. All contact with Samaritans is completely confidential within the organisation. You do not have to give your name, you cannot be traced, and no-one outside Samaritans will ever know you have been in touch.
