In addition to these events, the Branch receives income from other sources, e.g
We are also helped by our Charity shop, which opened in 2006. It is run by
two excellent managers, together with a dedicated team of supporters who are all

Samaritans has been one of the Mayor's choices for his Charity appeal. We are
very grateful to him for his generous donation to our funds.
Fundraising is hard work, but very enjoyable and rewarding. It does, however, rely on the goodwill of volunteers who already give of their time as listeners, and we welcome support from anyone who may wish to help us but may not want to be a listener. Please ring 01246 270000 if you would like to help, perhaps by working in the shop or helping us with tinshakes or bucket collections. We look forward to hearing from you.
