An all-day pop marathon is being organised to help raise money for Samaritans.
At least 9 bands will take part in the February line up to raise funds for Samaritans including South Normanton's Apocalypse Babys and local Chesterfield band Population Lost.
Population Losts' Bass player Adam Frost was keen to get involved in the fund raising for the support groups work after his Brother, Oli, killed himself last year.
Population Lost new album, called poignantly "Doing It For Oli", will also raise money for the Charity with 50% of proceeds from sales going to Samaritans.
"The album is dedicated to my Brother. He always enjoyed watching us play and hopefully this will help keep his memory alive" Adam explained.
The record will get its official launch at the Charity marathon Show, which takes place at the Snooty Fox, in Wakefield, on February 15th.
Acts already lined up to play, alongside Population Lost and Apocalypse Babys, are Musky Biers, Abrasive Wheels, 3CR, Refuse All, Cool 69, Fanny Pads, and Monkey Shuffle.
The event starts at 1.30pm and runs till late, with tickets costing £8, and is an all ages gig.
It is hoped that the show will be filmed and tracks from each Band included on a DVD, which will help raise further money for Samaritans.
