Volunteering at Cambridge Samaritans

Our Branch is run entirely by volunteers, who are trained to provide emotional support to callers by phone, email and face to face. We have about 115 volunteers aged from 18-80 and from a wide variety of backgrounds.

Volunteering is a great way to develop new skills, make new friends and provide vital support to people in distress or despair.

We are always looking for more volunteers. To find out more, come along to one of our Information Evenings:

8pm on the first Monday or third Wednesday of each month at 4 Emmanuel Road.

You’ll receive a warm welcome and hear more about from current volunteers about what they do and what’s involved. You don’t need to book and you don’t commit yourself to anything by coming along. We’d love to see you there.
