Samaritans provide completely
confidential emotional support 24 hours a day by phone, face-to-face,
email and letter and allow callers to talk openly about their worries
and concerns without fear of being judged.
People contact us for many reasons:
commonly mentioned are relationships, sex, love, divorce, debt, being
gay, lesbian or heterosexual as well as many other issues causing the
caller distress or despair. Whatever the problem if it is causing you
or someone you know distress, despair or depression, why not talk to us
about it? Talking it through with someone can often help.
Who really cares for people who are
going through a crisis, are on the verge of despair or contemplating
self-harm or suicide? Samaritans do.
