Services Offered

Samaritans offer a 24 hour confidential, non-judgemental emotional support service which you can contact at any time to talk and tell us about how you are feeling. You can do this by:

• email us on jo@samaritans.org.
• visit us at our branch between 11:00 to 21:00 to talk to a volunteer in person.

Bridgend Samaritans volunteers attend any youth groups, schools, clubs, organisation etc. to discuss our services that we offer, if you are interested in arranging a visit then please get in touch with us to arrange.

Prison

Bridgend Samaritans provides support though another listening and training scheme in partnership with the local prison HMP Parc.

Feet On The Street

Bridgend Samaritans also provides support though it's FOTS initiative, this sees volunteers from the local branch going out on the streets of Bridgend on a Saturday night be meet and support the public. If you would like to learn more about this service then please get in touch.

Bereaved by Suicide

One of our newest initiatives is a self help group for people who have been bereaved by suicide it is an forum for people to talk openly about there situation, experiences with the support from Bridgend Samaritan volunteers.
