Brent Samaritans Garden

The beautiful Samaritans garden is within the grounds of the popular Roundwood Lodge Café in Roundwood Park which serves great food and real coffee. With its outdoor playing area the café is a big draw to local families and parents in need of rest and recuperation.

Our garden, which is complete with a water feature, is one of the café's outdoor seating areas. The plaque, set in the middle of the garden, is a reminder to local people of our branch and the services we provide.

The garden was originally made possible by a donation from the Manhattan Loft Corporation in 2003. More recently we received help from the Park Royal Partnership which links up businesses to help local charities. It set us up with a local firm, Brixton PLC, who generously loaned us three of their employees for the day to help spruce up and renovate the garden. We were most grateful for the help we received and you can see from the pictures below that we had a good time scrubbing down and replanting the garden!
