We like to get out and about. Last year we had stalls at several venues and are hoping to do even more this year. For us its an opportunity to raise some funds, publicise our service but above all to meet people. Look out for us - if you see us, come and say hello. You'll be welcome!

Did you know...?

Is a Branch of Samaritans like any of the other  Branches, except that it doesn't have a building or a telephone, but Instead, attends events throughout Britain and provides a 24 hour Samaritan service. The events are predominantly out-door music festivals like Glastonbury or Reading, but also various biker, dance, surf, multicultural, lesbian/gay, homeless events, and others.

Information Evenings for Prospective Volunteers:

If you would like to know more about volunteering with Samaritans, we hold regular information evenings at our centre on Mornington Villas. Sessions usually start at 7.30 p.m. and last for about two hours. If you feel you would like to attend one, do give us a ring on 01274 547547 For directions to our centre, click on How to find us.

Thanks to everyone who came to our recent Information Evening - we hope you found it interesting and that some of you will go on to become our volunteers at the branch.
