Samaritans provide confidential emotional support, 24 hours a day for people who are experiencing feelings of distress or despair, including those that may lead to suicide.

You don't have to be suicidal to call us, we are here for you if you're worried about something, feel upset or confused, or you feel you just need to talk to someone.

Bradford Samaritans are open daily to visitors  between 11 am and 10 pm but just in case we are unable to see you please ring in advance to let us know that you are coming.

All our running costs are derived from voluntary donations from individuals, local companies, and other bodies. We receive no regular income from government or other official sources.

It costs approximately £40,000 a year to run our centre in Bradford. Of course, if volunteers were paid for their regular commitment  to listen to distressed callers, the figure would be much higher

If you would like to help either by sending us a donation or to help to organise fund-raising events, please contact us at:
