Confidentiality

You can contact Bexley & Dartford Samaritans in complete confidence in the following ways:

By Phone

You can phone us on 020 8301 1010 (local number) or on 08457 90 90 90* day or night, throughout the year.

* You are advised to check costs with your telephone service provider. The calls are charged according to your particular tariff, and if the cost is an issue we can call you back. If you wish us to call you back you will have to give us your number, as we have no '1471' facility or caller display so as to maintain your anonymity.

In Person

Bexley & Dartford Samaritans offers a drop-in service, between 9am and 8pm, for people who want to speak to one of its volunteers face to face in a quiet, private space its branch. The branch is situated at:

No appointment is necessary but we may not always be able to see you straight away - for instance if none of our volunteers are free when you come to the door. Therefore, if you have to make a special journey it may be worthwhile telephoning us first (020 8301 1010) - please check you are through to Bexley & Dartford branch as calls get diverted to other branches when we are busy.

We recognize that some people might find it easier or may need time and space to find a way through emotional distress by communicating via email.
