What is the structure of Samaritans?

Samaritans has 202 branches across the UK and Republic of Ireland.

Samaritans employs 64 full time staff who are responsible for the day to day running of the organisation at a national level, implementing the decisions taken by the trustees of the charity. 62 people are based in our central office, in Ewell, Surrey. A Scottish Development Officer is based in Dundee.

In addition to their responsibilities at a national level, each branch director is legally responsible as a trustee for their own branch. All 202 Samaritans branches are charities in their own right.
